SpotCo is a New York City–based advertising agency and design studio that specializes in creating artwork and campaigns for Broadway theater. At any given time, the company handles roughly half the shows on the “Great White Way,” including...Rent, Chicago, Avenue Q, In the Heights, and the upcoming musicals Shrek, Billy Elliott, and 9 to 5. Creative director of design Gail Anderson served as senior art director at Rolling Stone magazine from 1987-2002. She teaches in the School of Visual Arts’ MFA Designer as Author program and is a 2008 AIGA medalist. Designer Nicky Lindeman served as an art director at Sony Music from 1990-95 and freelanced for over a decade before joining SpotCo in 2007.
