Enric Satué

Enric Satué, a graphic designer, writer, and curator based in Barcelona, is the first graphic designer to receive Spain’s National Design Prize, in 1988...He has taught at the San Jordi Catalan Royal Academy of Fine Arts and is a professor of Typography and Graphic Design at the Pompeu Fabra University and University of Architecture, both in Barcelona. Satue is the author of fifteen books, among them El diseño gráfico. Desde los orígenes hasta nuestros días (a textbook used in Spanish design schools) and Arte en la tipografia y tipografia en el arte. He has curated several exhibits, including the recent Ready to Read: Spanish book covers, for Estatal Society for Innovation and Design and the Spanish Foreign Office and Arte en la tipografia y tipografia en el arte, for the Spanish National Library.
